Welcome to my travel guides blog - Londoner Abroad. My name is Ricky Carbis and I love to travel.

This is a blog that (hopefully) you will find entertaining as well as finding some helpful tips and guides on life abroad and travelling.

I left the UK in October 2012 and haven't looked back since, well, except the occasional Skype call with my Mum and my dogs - who I miss, dearly. So Molly, if you're reading this - you're still my favourite dog ever... sorry Lula.
