Guide to pack before you travel Guide to pack before you travel Travel Tips SHARE Ricky Carbis , March 29, 2012 / 0 How to pack a suitcase travel tips There is nothing worse than arriving at a destination, opening your bag, and thinking…. You get the picture – realising that you have left something at home, affectively ruining a holiday before it even begun. Here is my guide on things to pack before you travel: MUST HAVES: Passport (Yes, some people really do forget to take their passport!) Visa – if needed Identification – other than passport of course Ticket for travel – unless you can print it at the airport, be sure to check in advance Money – cash and card for emergency Hotel reservation printed out House keys HOW TO PACK YOUR BAG: Toiletries – take what you need, you can always buy toiletries at your destination. But the general essential toiletries are: Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Shampoo, Body wash, Deodorant. To avoid any leaks in your bag and ruined clothes, use cello tape to keep the lid on firmly, or place all toiletries in a plastic bag. Clothes – well we all need them for obvious reasons. Essential clothes to take: Underwear, Trousers or Jeans, Shirts, Jacket, Shoes, Shorts. Remember, if you are going travelling – take as much comfortable clothes as possible. TIP: roll your clothes instead of folding them; this will prevent clothes from creasing as much. Electrical – remember to take the suitable adapters for your phone, laptop and what not. An mp3 player or iPod for when you are flying can really help. Also a good camera to show off all those amazing pictures to your friends can always go far too. OTHER THINGS TO TAKE: Sun Cream – if you are like me, you will need sun cream… no really, this isn’t even up for debate. Bring sun cream. Sunglasses – temperatures can really heat up, protection for your eyes is important too. Plasters and bandages – little cuts and bruises are easy to come by when you are adventuring around the world. Plasters and bandages to cover up little wounds is perfect. Mosquito repellent – if needed of course. Any other medicine that you need to be taking.
